Call me naive but I didn't really think about that. He called last night and apologized but it was pretty casual and it felt a forced apology.
Thanks for the insight though. If that's what it is, things make a little more sense.

    me too :)

moreover, girls really need to learn to control and suppress their emotions at times
also keep in mind the sooner u move on (weather u want to or not) the sooner ull have the opportunity to meet someone new and a lot better
just a thought ;) stop wasting ur emotions on someone who’s passive towards u

I find myself to be really, really understanding and passive with him (to a fault almost), so I'd say that's a really general statement to make. I'm the kind of person who will just let the emotion out on my own time, and I'll put up a front when I'm with other people.

I tried to move on months ago, but then I started dating a ton of different people and nothing felt the same at all.

    I guess I need time!

Start thinking about what an asshole he is for blowing you off, after a while you will get over and wonder how you wasted any of your time on it

    Vice versa.

Well, sometimes it's better to wait until you aren't even looking.
I find that most people usually find great relationships when they weren't looking to find anyone or start any relationship, but it just "happened" lol.

    What?

I wouldn't really consider myself as someone who's looking per se (always kind of on the lookout, but not pursuing something for the sake of being with someone). Buuut I'm feeling a lot better, probably because I've been way too busy to be concerned about it, haha.

    Text last night:
"Are you at work tomorrow? I'd like to talk to you."

After 2 weeks of no communication whatsoever. Goddammit, I hate men.

    He wants pussy.

    I agree.

We talked and sorted things out...he said he wants to start as friends because we never really worked on that before. I gave in, but I really don't want to...

...so does this mean I can start dating again?

You could, but it wouldn't be a wise choice. He is only doing it for sex.

Probably, but that's been the case for the past few months and it was more like mutual understanding.

yeah but I doubt he's asking other people for advice on what to do and saying "i hate women" lol

you should not have even responded to his text, sigh, you should have waited at least 3-4 days before responding
  • edited June 2008
Why not just tell him that he's pissing you off?

Go to his house and smash his face in.

    It always works.
