I don't mind. I did it last time. But we'll need half the party there. And my place for drinking is fine. That way we won't incur that ridiculous bar tab.
You dudes and dudettes could crash here too if you so desire.
Definitely, thinking back in retrospect, snowboarding is fun but ice skating is definitely the cheaper option and hopefully more people will want to come out.
If people still want to go snowboarding, we have a month off and we could definitely find a time, I know a couple of us are huge into snowboarding and even have multiple season passes.
It's right across the street from SFU Surrey, so it's easy access for those that want to take public transit (surrey central station). Plus, their is a great Pub there too (central city brewing) if anyone wants to grab a drink after. Can't get better than that :)

Whatever is okay with me. Let's try to set up a tentative date as well. The week of Dec 14th might work. It's not so close to Christmas that people will have too many plans, I wouldn't think. Maybe Thursday Dec 18th, or the Friday, so that it won't cut into any weekend plans people may have? Any suggestions?

Been there once for wings but the name completely slipped my mind.
I didn't work this semester...
Didn't get a student loan either... so tuition ate my money.

Are we talking about the same Joey's? Joey's on Lougheed Hwy?
Ice Skating is the perfect thing because it's fun, not too expensive, and easy for everyone to mingle (we could play tag n shit).
Then whoever wants to go to dinner/pub can go afterwards.
Snowboarding would be cool too, but it should be organized for another day, for the people that actually go boarding.
We could go to 8 Rinks, but I am not sure where else there is a skate rink?
It is cheap its like $3 for admission and $2 for rentals.
