Christmas Meetup

This is something we have not had in a while, a meet-up. Is anyone interested in having one this winter break after exams? If so post here that way I can get an idea and plan it.

We could go do a meal, ice skating, bowling, lazer tag, or, as Ether suggested to me, drinking or snowboarding, or snowboarding and then drinking.

Either way, post here if you would go, your availability, ideas of activity et cetera.

    Oh my God, I was just thinking about proposing a meet-up after finals!

    I'm free anytime after Dec. 12th. And I'm down with drinking!

    We can still hang-out/drink at my place. I don't mind. We could always drink at Foggy Dew, and then move the party on back here, since it's literally down the street from my apartment.

    Snowboarding sounds fun too, though I've never done it before. Doing it while drunk sounds like instant-death, I'm down.

    well u know alcohol may help, see most people fall a lot first time out so alcohol may numb the pain
    and if you guys chose to go boarding/skiing i could teach the newbs the basics

    I've never been snowboarding!

    I'm done on the 10th so anytime after is perfecto with me.

    hmm im down for snowboarding, ive only been once tho and im pretty sure i sucked at it, soo ill be spending the day at the beginners hill lol

    cypress has the terrain park right next to the bunny hill its perfect!
    i can "lol" at the beginners falling and then i can go break another rib on some massive air :P
    actually no that wasn't a pleasant experience the first time round ...

    Vonnie doesn't want to do anything the crowd does.

    I was going to suggest maybe going snowboarding at somewhere local like Seymour which is cheap. Then after go drinking at the Dew or some other location.

    Well, we could always do two seperate days. But we should definitely have one event that everybody would come out to, like a dinner thing, and then possibly go drinking after that.

    Snowboarding would be fun, but it might be expensive for the people who don't have passes or gear. I'm thinking it would be ~$100 for the day factoring in the rentals.

    Still, I'm in if other people want to go.
