MATH 150

1 Day before my math final, I recieved a terrible news from back home. Grandmother hit her head and fell unconcious. When my father heard the news, he also fainted. I couldn't get in touch with any of them beside from my father's employee and aunt. Because of this terrible news, i could not study or focus on my final. I was crying for hours not knowing how they are.
I see that I got a D on my grade. Does anyone this it is possible for me to explain this situation to my professor and TA and ask if they can consider giving me C-?
