Do you just want a bump, or do you want to appeal your final grade? If you want a bump, you have to email the professor. If you want to appeal your grade, then you will have to submit an application and then provide documentation of your work and how it was graded unfairly. It's a long and tedious process and students almost never succeed unless their argument was very compelling.
