Wow, it's interesting to see firefox lose so much ground considering its just as good as chrome. I guess google's strategy of integrating its products has worked.
I stopped using Firefox because it would constantly freeze while trying to CTRL F through a very long list. Chrome is great, and I've never wanted to switch back.
@Lucid It's not as good as Firefox. It may be good for some people but Chrome is optimized for entertainment things such as Flash player capabilities which most people do things that require certain Chrome characteristics i.e. youtube, movies, flash games etc.
Ditto what Simon said. Chrome is just so much smoother. Browser rankings imo is 1. Chrome 2. Firefox 3. Safari (maybe?) 4. Some other thing 5. IE 6. Netscape 7. The one you used on your flip phone back in 2003.
@SFUTalk It's not Chrome's fault it is most likely your computer hardware. Upgrade your RAM and you'll do okay. I had problems with too many tabs/windows too but after upgrading my memory it works quite well now. Firefox uses up more resources than Chrome, at least for me.
@lakerfanatic I think that is just the built-in Android browser and I heard it sucks. You can download a different browser preferably Chrome.
@Simon I noticed the sponsors hub to the right on the homepage now. Is that new or was that always there and I just didn't notice it? If it's new congrats on being able to monetize this useful site!
Not really. Even some with viruses they don't even block because you have to agree to a disclaimer saying that they didn't develop this add-on/extension and they are not liable for any risks associated with it when you download.
