    I feel like kindergarten again....can't believe you're old and "academically competent" enough for university but you can't navigate around the campus without a guided tour, I mean SFU is only a small to medium size campus compare to oh UBC, UVIC, U of T, etc.

    ^yeah but the place looks the same everywhere same grey old concrete and the maps are confusing as hell and plus the floors are confusing. many 1st-years think the floors start at 1 at the AQ and end up being late for their class. Also some tour guides know secret spots to engage in private studying/sexual activity. 

    Don't get lost in Simon Fraser Penitentiary.

    I think the goal is to meet ppl in the same year as you and hopefully taking the same classes as you

    It was not worth it for me because my group didn't mesh that well. If you're the type to make new friends easily then I guess it might be good.

    I'm kinda tempted to go now and just show up (and hope I get signed up for free) for the heck of it lol. Can only first years/new students go?

    @SFUTalk, anyone who's in their 2nd year should know where the cheapest vending machine in school is located...
