151 is exactly the same as 150 in terms of material, it just covers it in less time. If you are in applied sciences/sciences (other than life sciences) you have to take 151 or 150. If you have no calculus experience I would definitely recommend 150. In fact unless you are already particularly good at calculus you would probably benefit by taking 150 instead of 151.
the other calculus classes, 154 for life sciences and 157 for business, are both a fair bit easier than 150/151. That said though it is not a good idea to take these unless they are what your program requires. In some cases you can use 154/157 as a prereq for courses requiring 150/151, but in order to do so you usually need at least a B.
long story short in order of difficulty 151 > 150 > 154 > 157, take which ever is required by your major.
calc one is mostly limits, derivatives, and the things that go along with derivatives ( related rates and what not.) If you feel comfortable with those then you would probably do equally well in either course. 151 isnt in itself any harder than 150, its just 150 spends more time covering things, and due to its pacing the first midterm is easier than the 151 one since it typically includes some stuff that isnt even calculus. Of the two you would likely get a higher mark in 150, but if you already have a reasonable knowledge of the stuff you should be fine in 151.
as a reference I took calc in high school and got like 67, then took 150 and got a B.
