I am sad. What about Anducci's for this Saturday instead? There was a meet there once before though I missed that one. It seems to be fairly non-crowded.
Can we not do both meets, or would people really prefer there be only one?
i can't make next saturday as it is some big chinese holiday where family dinner is mandatory.. and i'm packed with assignments and papers for the month of october so it's unlikely that i'll be able to the meetups if they're scheduled for october.. good news is i'm pretty much free after that (can't wait till november rolls around.. T_T)
so yeah.. it's either tml or november... take your pick.. =P
And btw, I just called The Keg and told me they don't take reservations on weekends but they can accomodate us (considering everyone shows up) with a little wait of course (like they always do) so I'll be there earlier around 6-6:30.
They told me that for Keg Yaletown, weekend reservations have to be made a little earlier as opposed to such a short notice. They cannot save any more seats esp for our size but we could wait since they almost always find tables to put together. At least that's what I was told.
Anyway, if it's full and wait time takes forever, we have an endless choice of alternatives nearby.
If anybody wants to meetup a little earlier (6-6:30) with me tomorrow give me a call.
I was thinking I might drop by my office building just across the street around 5:00, and get some work done before the meetup. If you give me a call[pm'd], I'll head over and meet you guys.
Apparently there can be long waits for tables, but we should be there early enough to get something decent by 7:00.
i would love to spend the afternoon walking around robson before heading over to the keg.. but nnoooo... i'll be stuck at home (or library) with my textbooks and articles.. stupid readings.. :cry::cry::cry:
