just drink from a coffee mug..
  • edited August 2009
let's decide on what to do before we debate on that!!

It's getting colder and going to the beach might not be the best choice at the set date.

I suggest we meetup at some restaurant downtown so if ever it gets warmer, we have a beach nearby.

    Any other suggestions?

i won't be able to make it but i suggest a great dinner bash somewhere with good atmosphere and drinks.

    the price of food?

after planning the place, we should plan the actual time as in what hours

i dont mind this timing sounds right

More on the pricier side for food and drink... Burlesque shows at 7pm and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • edited August 2009
just checked the website and I'm not too comfortable with the setting. and it is a bit pricy.

and I think the place has an age limit.
  • edited August 2009
Eh, yeah... and a place outside downtown Vancouver would be WAY better in terms of ease of access to parking.

    Anybody got ideas?
  • edited August 2009
how about Anton's? It's pretty close to SFU and you get a lottt of food for 10 bucks
  • edited August 2009
I have a condo at Univercity if anyone wants to chill and pre-drink? Maybe play some cards/board games or listen to some music (no tv) and then head out to a nearby restaurant...ie. Anton's

    Thoughts?
  • edited August 2009
    Not a bad idea!
  • edited August 2009
Anton's sucks. People only go for the large portions, but the food isn't even that good.
  • edited August 2009
There's really no good restaurants around SFU...what about predrinking at Simon's and then party at Foggy Dew's (no cover & skytrain access)
  • edited August 2009
not everyone is old enough to drink/go to bars.
  • edited August 2009
Bleh, I hate the Foggy Dew! But I'm down to going to Simon's and then Anton's! Or maybe Joey's? Or maybe some Korean food! Cactus and Milestone's are also down on Lougheed Hwy if anyone is up for driving.
  • edited August 2009
I love food, I'm good for whatever!
  • edited August 2009
FINALLY WE'RE MAKING PROGRESS! SIMON'S PLACE IT IS?? DAMN SIMON THANKS!
  • edited August 2009
oh korean food.. i've been craving for that..

but anyway.. why don't we host a bbq up at Simon's? can we do that? if not there's always potluck..
  • edited August 2009
That's so much easier -- party at Simon's!

Anton's is also insanely busy a lot of the time. Have y'all ever seen the line-ups? :omg:

I'm down with the Simon's idea.
