i don't think there was any stalking of summerheaven involved, at least prior to that. if i remember correctly, she left because her secret identity was revealed. maybe she's got something to hide or just ashamed of us =(

It wasn't really stalking, but more Facebook stalking (from what I know, who knows what Student is doing).
summerheaven specifically wanted to remain anonymous and requested that no one post her name. Hikin ended posting her name in the shoutbox, so SH went nuts and wanted to know how he found out. Apparently Student has been doing some detective work and found out who SH is by Facebook stalking her. Student was exposed and starting raging and spamming Hikin's PM inbox. He left and SH closed her account and disappeared from the face of the Internet. Student was angry and heart broken so he called up his mom, and she said "You're movin" with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'. Student whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything Student can say this cab is rare but thought 'Now forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air'. Student pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 And yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later' Student looked at his kingdom and was finally there to sit on his throne as the Prince of Bel Air.
People used to tease Student and SH about hooking up because Student kept asking about how her day went, and being really caring (and creepy). I don't even know how Student managed to find out who SH was, since the only information that he has is her username.
It's some drama fest and one of more interesting bits of history of TalkSFU I have to say. It's a tale of two star-crossed lovers that fucking backfired big time. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Okay, first off, let me dispel any speculation that Student stalked summerheaven or anything of that nature. Keep in mind, it is just that: speculation. Nobody has proof of any kind to say this. That being said, it's an odd coincidence, but that's all I'll say about it.
Regarding Student's departure, personally I feel that his extended absence, in the light of his very-regular posting in the past, is enough evidence to indicate that he no longer really wants to participate in this forum. Is he just waiting for the dust to settle? Who knows? I'd rather he tell us now, so Simon can take the appropriate action for the situation. I just don't want Desmond to feel that this is an ultimatum; come back or we'll strip you of your mod powers. If he's not an active member anymore, then it would seem appropriate that we de-mod him, though.
