I'm not sure if out door activities count as "the gym", but here goes.
Name: LUL JANE Location: Coquitlam, Burnaby, Vancouver Training Facility of Choice: The Great Out Doors! Currently Working On: Biking, swimming, I know practically nothing about the human muscular system--so you tell me. Looking for: Anybody who is into some fun stuff and is willing to come out and chill for a few hours when they have the free time. Contact: Jane Says on FaceBook.
I never much liked gyms. I haven't yet been to one where it doesn't reek of sweat. A lot of them doesn't have the ventilation needed for a place where groups of people gather and exert themselves.
I can understand those of you who make use of free facilities for work outs--but for those of you who pay for a gym... LOL WHY.
Yeah, you can ask any of the rec members questions.
Trip Report: Went to the gym, there was an empty bench to do free weights on. I went to use it after watching it for five minutes (to check if anyone was using it) and this dude comes running at me yelling that he was going to be using it in the near future.

Where to start? I stepped on the scale this morning and we'll just say I decided I need to hit the panic button on this minor issue of upward weight creep.
I don't go to the gym, but I have a fitness bike and weights in a mini home gym. I'm super weak so the weights are more for trying to tone my arms, and I do 25-30 min of cardio a night. I don't want to lose weight but I know that a bike doesn't burn a ton of calories...and I'd like to burn more. I'm just not a runner by any stretch of the mind. Boo :(
just the ab workout? or the whole p90x routine? i did it for a week but had to much work and school to stay dedicated. You have to be a beast to do the workout in full..
