First Class ?

I've never taken a class DE using FirstClass before and I was just testing to see if I could login but it says "This user ID and password is not valid" and doesn't let me log in.

Do I have to change any settings or anything?? I downloaded it right off the SFU website.

Or is this just because the semester hasn't started yet? I.e. I'll be able to log in on May 5th when everything begins?

Or is this a problem with the program?

I used my sfu Id (xxx##) and student number as the password.

Wondering if anyone knows anything about this so if it is a problem with the program I can deal with it now rather than later.

    I can't log in either....probably have to wait until the semester starts.

    This is most likely the reason why you are unable to log onto First Class right now. You should be able to log onto First Class on May 4th.

    Anyone know anything about some log-in timer?

    I just logged in for the first time and it says I have 24 hours but I've used 5 minutes of it and it just keeps ticking down with "23 hours 55 minutes" remaining

    Does this timer just reset everyday or are you only allowed to stay logged onto your SFU id for FirstClass 24 hours total for the semester? Doesn't make any sense to me but if anyone could clarify that'd be appreciated.

    Yeah, you have to be careful with your time.

    You can't be logged in for more than 24 hours total.

    This is part serious/ part joke. Yes, it is true that have a 24 hours limit. HOWEVER, you can only log in for 24 hours PER DAY, hahahhah! Get it? You can only log in for 24 hours a day. How many hours are there in a day, 24! Hahahhahahahah!

    I verified this claim by calling the First Class people.
