what are your thoughts on kin 140? I need it as a B-sci credit.. but I'm not so good w/ physics and intense chem. So to anyone who has taken it: what do you recommend? Should I take it in summer semester or stay away?
There's nothing in that course that requires expertise in the hard sciences. It's all just memorization of health-related information, like what the risk factors are for common diseases, nutritional information, quality of mainstream health information, and other stuff like that. There's a LOT of reading, but if you can take the time to absorb it all then it's an easy course.
By a lot of reading, I mean the study guide is two inches thick. And you can't just quickly skim over it, because some of the exam questions are very specific.
Well, if it's any consolation the material is easy to read (not that boring), the paper is thicker (not usual textbook paper, just a spiral bound book of copy paper) and the font is bigger than usual textbooks.

how much is "a LOT of reading" lol.. that scares me a bit.
Thanks for your replies :)
I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. B-Sci, apparently easiest one...or at least when compared to the rest.
Heard CHEM 192 is super easy too...so I dont know.
Oh, and what about Earth Science? That's easy too.
