Although plans have yet to be finalized, the university is working “in principle” to replace Raven’s Cafeteria with a Tim Horton’s. Since the proposed location is in the university proper, it will not be under the purview of the SFU Community Trust.
The franchise will be operated by Chartwell’s, though prices will be identical to other locations, as stipulated by Tim Horton’s.
Bérubé said that in a student survey conducted by Chartwell’s, Tim Horton’s was the top pick for fast food franchises they’d like to have on campus.

You got any other place in mind? Look, due to installation cost, that Tim Horton should be built in a place already with kitchen hardwares. Since we already have the Mackenzie Cafe in the AQ, Raven's Cafe is excess. Besides, the food there sucks.

It is not like having another pub on campus is a good idea. Also, the idea of a pub or place that serve alcohol on campus appals me from the get-go. Look, we need a place that serves good frappuccino on campus, and we already got enough Starbucks products up here.

I've heard about this rumour since as far back as August. I heard it was going into the Renaissance in the WMX and it was going to be run by Chartwells but do not fret as they have to sign a contract saying it would cost the same as a normal Timmy-Ohs and serving the same food.

I wouldn't even feel sad if they flatten Renaissance and turn it into a Tim Horton. Having a coffee place in every single building is just excessive, especially if you consider that the Residence Dining Hall and the Pub/ Cafe are only a two minute walks away and they both serves pretty much the same thing as Renaissance.

Instead of cheap coffee, I am actually interested in some quality coffee place. I want some place that serves frappuccino on campus.
