Oh sorry I thought this is the shoe thread =D

Well, how do you think she is towards you?

Do you think she likes you back? Do you feel like you have to "impress" her still?

It's really as simple as that, attraction isn't a choice. I strongly believe in attraction being something that either happens right away or not at all. I only ever spend time on a girl if I know she's at least somewhat interested back, i mean theres a difference between somewhat interested but playing hard to get.. or just.. playing hard to get without actually wanting your penor at all just to play with your head.

Ways in which you can tell she's into you:

    a) she talks about herself.. lets you in on "details"
    b) asks you a lot about yourself, to "get to know you better"
    c) is there for you or always wants to be around you. likes your company.

To be honest, I wouldn't pay 130 dollars for her ticket to see alicia keys. 130 is a lot of money to spend on a girl, you can use that money to do something more important like pay a phone bill or buy a months worth of groceries.

    Cliffs:
    - Attraction isn't a choice - she either wants your cock or she doesnt. Money wont suddenly make her want it.
    - Is she attracted to you? Gut instinct / do you think she's down?
    - 130 is a lot to spend on a girl, there are plenty of fish in the sea and someone out there for everyone - someone who doesn't make you feel the need to spend x amount of money on them to be "liked"

Keep in mind these are the rules I go by when I play the game. I've been successful with it. The women on this board may think i'm a prick/douchebag, but I don't really care. It works for me, so either work with it or dont.

Take her out to dinner first and look for attraction signals. Tell us how it went and we'll help you decide whether you should buy a ticket for this girl.

    It's not alicia keys.

It could be 30 dollars to a rave (which is what i'm into) or whatever .. it's the principle of the thing. Why bother with a girl if you feel she's not into you?

Im just trying to tell him to make sure she's down before he spends x amount on her.

Ps - i'm one of those guys who doesn't believe that you can just "be friends" with a girl.

I find that to be complete bullshit and the reason why so many guys are frustrated chumps with no relationship skills who are secretly in love with said "friend"

Plus who wants a girl as just a friend, guys are perfect for just friends cause we can literally talk about anything to each other.

I dont get any of this

its a concert to see alicia keys

its not giving her 130 dollars

you should be valuing the time, NOT THE MONEY, its you who are being materialistic if you think of the night as 130 dollars

i personally believe as i mentioned before, its impolite to ask someone to a concert and expect them to buy their own ticket...you're the one asking them to hang out and youre going to obligate them to pay to see you?

if you can afford to buy a ticket do it, if you cant dont, and if you are asking this question chances are you cant afford it

if you try to ask her to have sex after and justify it on buying her ticket then youre seeing her as a materialist

this can only be an issue if you cant afford the ticket, if a guy wanted to take me for a hike up a mountain, or to a concert i wouldnt value the concert anymore than the walk cause it cost more

Hell yeah to being a materialist.

If you value time, why spend 130 dollars? Take her for a hike. You're spending time without having to dent your wallet and you can use that to see if she's down.

But to invest 130 in hopes for her kos isn't the right way of going about it.

exactly.. it's a concert to see alicia.. hence i don't see all this hype over the girl... shouldn't it be alicia you're getting hyped over? if kingsleymore is buying tickets to a concert he and the girl does not enjoy then yeah.. that extra $130 is a waste.. cause he could've gone for a dinner and movie at a lesser cost and probably have a better time to get to know her..

I posted on this thread becuz it's apparently about advice on relationships, not on musical tastes.

okay... so basically, I SAID i'll pay for her... (the situation is like siuying said, she's not that into the concert, but I want someone to go with). but i asked her and said i'll pay for her, and she's like i'll think about it... wtf! who doesn't want to go to a CONCERT for free ?? So i'm thinking either

    a) she already is seeing someone
    b) she's getting the wrong message from me.

Spend or don't spend money.. whatever.. If she likes/ is attracted to you anything will be fun, it doesn't matter how much you spend or doing what..

Since she said she'll think about it, you should go to the concert with someone else. Like you said Kingsleymore, she's either seeing someone else or she is just not attracted to you.

Which wrong message would she get?

It doesnt matter your musical taste. If a girls like nirvana, iron maiden a guy can go for alicia..

cool, thanks for all the advice posted! I'll be sure to update you guys, but it's not looking good so far...

if you dont see the relation to the alicia keys concert the point is:

if you can't afford to do something, then dont, cause then maybe she will expect it in the future, and the fact is you cant afford it

if a girl really likes you, she wont even care what you are doing,I cant think of any times where i didnt know if i liked a guy or not based on whether he spent x amount of money, i generally had an idea before hand

it shouldnt matter what you do at first anyway, once its a long term relationship the sitting at home all the time doesnt always thrill

    second that
I don't think she sees you as a guy anymore.

Hold on... why is the Alicia Keys concert $130 per ticket?

I paid just $75 for Radiohead... the world doesn't make sense anymore.

christ, you're desperate. this bitch better put out, but chances are she won't (unless she's a carpet muncher), since you obviously have a sopping wet vagina for wanting to attend an alicia keys concert.
