Windows Speech Recognition

So I'm wondering how many people actually use this application?
Both Windows Vista and XP have it built in, but most people don't even know it exists.
Yes I've heard all the arguments about it being useless, but I've used it to not only navigate to this site that create this post! (speech to text ftw!)
Or better yet laziness ftw :)

    well since i had to teach it "ftw" it took a good 5mins :P
    but i can see a point to it...
    im already using 2 pc's with a kvm switch (server / comp) and i have my laptop on all the time too for other random shit so using speech to control laptop is kind of helpful since i don’t have to slide over and click or w/e
    i should probably go back to the dual monitor setup i used to have... but i have no idea what i did with my other video card

    I use it once in a while, it's not that useful at the moment, but Vista's speech recognition is very good quality.

    but i dont have a mic on my laptop? wouldnt it being funny talking to my laptop and waiting for nothing to happen?

    what! most laptops should have a built in mic...

    not if you go back a couple of months. and the built in mics are usually too crappy to use speech recognition reliably most of the time anyways.

    ^ they could use any headphones then ... plug em in mic jack and speak into speaker :P
