I remember, your car broke down. Inspect your vehicle the night before the meet up. Ideally, you should have regular inspection of your vehicle and you can avoid this sort of unnecessary delay.

i can pick you up morro

I hope you mean in the physical sense where you will drive him and not in the hitting on him sense.

I am 100% irresistable to the gay man, I've come to realize. So, I'm thinking he could be talking about both.

If only heterosexual women were as attracted to me as gay dudes are, I'd be in heaven. lol

    Richmond????
I'm down for another meet-up, but I don't know about driving to Richmond.
  • edited April 2008

    RMD so Far la.
  • edited April 2008
    No Richmond, plzkthx.
  • edited April 2008
ok whats a good place for everyone then ?
  • edited April 2008
Obviously, Richmond wouldn't work for everyone because of its distance for some TalkSFUers. We should instead find a place that is relatively accessable for most TalkSFUers, such as places in Burnaby, more specifically Lougheed Town Center.
  • edited April 2008
lol burnaby is fine with me.

was just suggesting that if we were to eat dimsum richmond would be a good place due to the nature of having so many chinese restaurants in a small area.

    lougheed is cool too.
  • edited April 2008
How about downtown on the weekend?? evryone loves downtown! lol

    ...

    ..

Or Like Student0667 suggested, lougheed town center or sommin'

I'm down wit anything. But let's not have another cluster-f of indecision like last time. :p

    You all have 3 choices:
    1) BP (same as last time.)
    2) SFU Pub
    3) Someplace in Richmond

I vote for option 1. Nice and easy, and people have experience with where it is.

    where is the bp?

    bp sounds good

By BP you are refering to Boston Pizza, right?

Its location is in 4219 Lougheed Hwy.

Just get off at Gilmore Skytrail Station and walk East. You should be able to see it on the Skytrain platform.

For dim sum, we could go to The Prince near Renfrew Station. It's really good and relatively cheap. I go there all the time, my family is like VIP there hahaa.

But yeah actually, BP might be better... I imagine it might get complicated at dim sum cuz some people don't like to eat "exotic" things like chicken fingers and innards, and some people do. Plus we'll have to split the bill in the end @.@ Unless someone foots the bill, but for some reason I don't think there will be a huge fight for the bill (Asian style) at this meetup... =P

    K, I'm weird, but I don't really like pancakes.
  • edited April 2008

  • edited April 2008
Not just pancakes, but waffles and crepes and surprisingly they have a full lunch and dinner menu too.
  • edited April 2008
yes i'm craving belgian waffles.. +1 for ihop if i can curb my cravings till the meet-up.. =)

If you want breakfast type items, I'd recommend De Dutch (http://www.dedutch.com/).

I'm down for anything; downtown would be interesting too!
