Major / Minor

This is the end of my second semester here and I'm still undecided in what to major/minor in. Is this normal? It seems like everyone else had decided on what they would like to do.

This is what I narrowed down to so far:
Either: Major in psychology and minor in computing science
or: Major in computing science and minor in psychology

Which one seems more..useful?

Or is getting a minor really useless?

What are you guys major/minor-ing in?

    If you want to make money, major in Computing Science. If you are going to university to gain knowledge and you like it more, choose psychology.

    Is getting a minor useless? A lot of people on this site would argue yes, but I am going to say no.

    I am Majoring in Comp Sci, Minor in Criminology plus a Certificate in Liberal Arts.

    Liberal Arts, basically means I took a bunch of random courses so they give me a certificate for it.

    Seriously, so easy to get.

    oh, does it deal with the WQB thing?? Do the courses of your major count in CLA as well???

    I am about to finish my fourth semester here (so second year) and I have 65 credits.

    All a certificate is good for is a resume, it really means nothing. You have to apply for this one after you are done all ten courses.

    HaHaha. Yeah. I wonder what randomuser means by "real" sciences.

    CompSci hands down is more useful...you don't wanna get stuck administering those $5 participants-needed studies lol

    Whoa, 65 credits after 4 semesters?? I'm not even at 30 credits with 2 semesters....

    Hmmm so only major in computing science and no minor? :/ This is hard.

    my vote is for no minor and no cert unless you dont mind spending extra time / money, if you dont mind do a minor or whatever else

    otherwise in my opinion just do your BA, i perosnally dont think employers care when it comes to a simple BA, i really dont think in a job interview someones going to ask you what you did your minor in, and then proceed to deny you cause you didnt take 5 courses in some random field
