It's true, I did go to her profile page.

I noticed a lack of the normal amount of posts that contained non-sense and incoherent ideas. Then I realized that the source of these posts had not been posting in a while. Now in order to validate my theory that she had not been on in a while I needed to make sure my information was correct, hence having to look at her profile page.

You know baby e you should try it sometime... validating your information before your spew your opinions to the world labeling them as truths.

I'm more of a fan of the, "OH BURN!!"

Slight variation but I'm a fan of it.

    Ladies and gentlemen,

We are only six days away from our, supposed, meetup on March 1. Have we decided where we, supposedly, will meet?

    Sincerely,

    Student0667

This is the problem with democracy. I nominate illicut to just pick a fucking restaraunt. He put in the effort to organize, let him pick. It doesn't make a difference anyway. :)
  • edited February 2008
haha, i love it, F' DEMOCRACY!

Just saying, no one was taking initiative.

thanks for summing up the list, but i hope the man behind all this SR. SHOULD be back by now unless he got kidnapped by mehicano's and beaten to a pulp and left for dead but i'd really like to push for the original Raize (SR.) to show up for his own forum's meetup lol.

as for a location, we have FIFTEEN people, a restaurant is a bit difficult to seat this many at one table is what i'm afraid of. but i'll call some places around metrotown to see if a table of fifteen is possible.

our fallback plan needs to be established, so i'll make it now, which will be Cactus Club at metrotown across Metropolis.

Boston Pizza on Lougheed. Definitely enough space for all of us. And I feel like eating Pizza.

    So guys, what's the verdict?

Sure, I have only been to Boston Pizza once. I support Boston Pizza, assuming they have enough seats to accommodate us...

Also, JayDub, you are in Rez, correct? Which building are you in?

Also, how are we going to recognize each other?
  • edited February 2008
Boston Pizza is always a good call... if they can fit 15 people.

    I'm in for that.
  • edited February 2008
I'm up for Boston Pizza as well.
Reserve a table of 15, tell the hostess you're looking for the table of 15 when you walk in? I assume it'll be similar to a blind date..."looking for a reservation for ___________".
I've seen way too many of those in my day as a hostess.

count me in for boston.. i've been craving for some hearty italian/greek pizza anyway.. =) now abt the time 12 or 1? cause i need to plan my bus schedule if i do come..
  • edited February 2008
    I fit a 50 person party before.
I'm sure they can accomodate 15.

I think someone should make reservations :)

Yes I am, I am in the townhouses, number 64. What about you?

I suggest we wear those, "Hello My Name Is" name tags with our user names, then we will know whom we are. If we don't, we should not say who we are and have everyone guess who we each are.

As for time I am going to suggest 12 but that is not up to me. I also elect illict, the moderator who is putting this all together, to make the elections, otherwise I elect nicole. Why her? Because she was a hostess.

Ok, now that we have the date and location of our meetup, we now need to figure out the specific time of the meetup.

Oh, by the Boston Pizza at Lougheed, which one are you guys refering to? The one at 4219 Lougheed Hwy?

Ok, I guess that would work, assuming there isn't another table of 15 doing the same thing as us.

BTW, I have never been on any sort of blind date/meetup, so I am a little nervous.

Shell House. I don't have to worry about messy washroom or kitchen thanks to the daily cleaning crew.

    It's this one right?
  • edited February 2008
I think that is the one, the one beside Brentwood Mall.

Anyways, I am not busing down there, even though I live on rez, I'll be driving, I have a couple spots so I guess if someone from rez or univercity wanted a ride I guess I could give it to them.

We should just reserve under "SFU" for 15 (well 16). easiest =)
And the "Hello my name is" idea is so elementary school! HAHAHA

I hope you guys don't mind but I"m going to be bringing my BF because he doesn't like me meeting up w/ random strangers ^____^
