Taking 300 level courses before declaring a Major?

Might be a simple question, but due to an 8-5 daily job I can't contact sfu advising so I thought I'd post here. Can I take 300 level courses before declaring a Major?

I'm pretty sure it depends on the faculty. For instance to take upper division business courses I believe you have to be a business major. For most faculties though I am pretty sure this is not the case.

What upper division courses are you looking at taking?

As long as you fulfill the course requirements, then I think it should be okay. Some upper division courses are reserved for students in that major though. For example in business, non-majors cannot enroll in upper division business courses until the day before classes start.

you can but you can only register after the open enrollment dates and after restriction to the major has been removed.
