Transferring to UBC (undergraduate arts)

Hi! 

I am a first year student who wants to transfer to UBC for next year. You need at least 30 credits if you want to transfer into the second year. I was wondering if I need to have those thirty credits by the time I apply in January 2015 or by the time September 2015 rolls around?

Also does anybody have any experience with this or any tips?

Actually, I was wondering if anyone has experience with this…. Also I did call them multiple times and I was repeatedly transferred from person to person or given unclear advice and instructions from people who clearly do not thoroughly know the admissions process.

That's weird, doesn't seem like a difficult question to answer, well good luck with it :) Maybe you can try asking on facebook groups
