3 exams one day

edited November 2014 in General
I know if you have 3 exams in 24 hours, you can get one exam re-scheduled.

Anyone has any experience how this works? can I pick any of the 3 classes to have the exam re-scheduled? Will my exam be earlier or later than the official time? can it be done in the same semester exam period (last semester at SFU)? Will it be a slightly different exam? Who do I must let know that I have 3 exams in 1 day and how long in advance?

No I didn't picked my 3 glasses based on exam dates. it cracked me up a bit when I saw all 3 glasses have the same day, considering the previous 5 semesters I had perfect exam schedule (all classes perfectly separated by few-several days depending on how hard the class was too). But if there is some advantage to be taken away from this, I'd like to know

  • It is the middle exam that gets rescheduled.

"For three or more exams, you will be given a new exam date (within the established exam period) for the second exam causing hardship (by the respective instructor or department/faculty). If you have an exam at more than one location, advance arrangements will be made by your instructor or department/faculty for you to write both exams at a single location. You must notify your instructor(s) and department one month prior to the exam date."

    darnit! Can't manipulate the system...

    Cheers :)

p.s. would the exam be the same one, or different?
  • Most likely different. They usually mix it up a bit so that people taking the exam later can't cheat :)
