Hi everyone,
Just wanted to a share a pretty cool project taking place at SFU. It's called the Budding Scientist Research Program. It aims to bring science literacy to children living in economic disadvantages and also studying things like executive functions, multilingualism, and social communication. The program is currently looking for volunteers to accompany kids to Science World and facilitate their learning as they attend science workshops and navigate the exhibits etc. It takes place on weekends. It's a lot of fun, a great experience volunteering in a large scale study, and an opportunity to get a reference letter. To apply, follow this link:
