Is too much truth a bad thing?

Is it wrong to tell the truth too much? I mean it seems like a pretty easy question, honesty is always good. But I've noticed that too much truth isn't a good thing either... I had an epiphany about telling the truth all the time but now people have been calling me a jerk, even though I'm just tell people the truth about what to improve whats so wrong about that??

There's a difference between telling the truth and meddling in someone's life. Especially if it's driving people to call you a jerk when you are making suggestions for improvement.

How you word things is also important. You have to consider who you are talking to!
