STAT 201 or STAT 270?

Hi

I was wondering whether Stat 201 or Stat 270 was easier and more beneficial to a biology student.

    They are both elementary stats courses, with 201 being A LOT more elementary than 270. Neither is much harder than high school stats so you might as well take the easy route with 201 if you are not a stats person :).

    Half of 270 is purely Math 12 style statistics and the other half requires more in-depth knowledge. 270 is more math intensive.

    As to which course is more valuable to a biology student, I'm not sure. Do biology students get a choice between 201 or 270?

    is any body had Dr Binghman for his stat 201? how is his final going to be? I am so scared it worth 65%?? help?

    201 is the required course for bio, as far as I know. You can take 270, but you'll still need to take 201.
