Missing Chem 126 Labs

edited March 2014 in General
I'm transferring into SFU this summer and taking Chem 122/126 in the coming semester and already know that I'm going to miss 3 labs (The first 2 and 5th). I've got a semi-valid reason for the 5th but not so much for the first 2(out of the country).

The more I consider it the better it seems to leave it until the Fall but I'm taking a full course load and want to do well and feel that it would be better to take the lab while enrolled in Chem 122.

That being said ideally I'd like to get the lab done this summer but it seems like I'd be screwing myself over!! Any advice?

  • The labs are very easy (I got a c- in the course but still got a b in the lab), so I would wait to take it when you can actually attend all labs. Also I'm fairly sure you're not allowed to pass 126 if you miss any labs, so double check that. I think taking it over the summer when you know you will miss 3 classes is a recipe for disaster.
