what is FAL X99 and FAN X99?

I was checking my academic requirements on sis and found that I have FAL X99 and FAN X99 taken.

I think I never registered for such courses.

what exactly are they?

    Foundations of academic Literacy and Foundations of analytical and quantitative reasoning. You automatically get credit for them if you achieve certain scores in English 12/Math 12, or in the case of FAL if you scored well enough on the LPI exam.

    If you do not receive credit for these courses from your high school marks you have to take the corresponding X99 course before you can enroll in any W/Q courses.

    You have them though, so nothing to worry about!
