what are the chances i get into a course that i'm waitlisted?
Im trying to take this linguistics Writing course in the summer, but im at position 24 in waitlist.
the wait list capacity is 25 but the class capacity is 30. I've never seen a class capable of taking 25 people when the class capacity is 30...
So i was wondering if i should wait till the first week of classes to see if professor would let ppl on the waitlist in class..

    My girlfriend did linguistics, and judging from her frustrations during every course selection ever, getting into linguistics classes is a pain in the ass.

    hopefully someone else can give you more useful information than that.
