Hi y'all,

I was wondering what are the easiest electives to take for Beedie admission. I've previously taken Phil-XX1 but I ended up with a C (very uninteresting course imo). English was never my favorite subject in high school (I was more of a math and history person).
Engl 101W-3 Introduction to Fiction
Engl 102W-3 Introduction to Poetry
Engl 103W-3 Introduction to Drama
Engl 104W-3 Introduction to Prose Genres
Engl 105W-3 Introduction to Issues in Literature & Culture
Engl199W-3
 Introduction to University Writing
Phil 001-3 Critical Thinking
Phil 100W-3 Knowledge and Reality
Phil 120W-3 Introduction to Moral Philosophy
WL
 101W-3 Writing About Literature
WL 103W-3  Pre-Modern World Literature
WL 104W-3  Modern World Literature

  • I took Engl 199, Phil 100 and Phil 120. 199 was really helpful for future electives. I found 100 easier than 120 but I didn't really enjoy either, I'm more of a math and history person too :).
  • all phil courses are very difficult to receive high marks
english courses require a lot of work...to answer your question: none of them are easy. But if you want to try your luck, I would say eng 105 or 101
  • I dont think easy things worth in life. Its pretty good to encourage yourself and do something outside your comfort zone. This will stimulates your brain and create new pathways for easy learning.
