Hey people,

i think i got a D and do you have other suggestion of courses that i can take to boost up my gpa. I mean transferable courses, know any> preferably, numbers or science (not memorizing stuff)

  • Keep in mind that when you retake the course ubc will count the average of the 2 grades not the better. You should probably retake the course. Why did you do poorly ? Were you taking too many courses ? Were you uninterested? Procrastination ? Most courses are transferable, so i don't think it'll matter what you take. Courses arent just easy on their own, you have to be interested in them and want to do the work.
  • Ohhhhh, I see. Thanks for the help!!!!
  • Another thing, are the grades on go.sfu the final grades which will appear on the transcript?
  • If ur going into sciences why did u take phys 120 thats meant for engineers, u shouldve taken 101
  • For your 1st year courses to transfer to UBC, you need all of physics 101,102 & 130 (lab) at SFU. Missing either one of the lecture or lab components will not get you the credits for the equivalent (101&102) at UBC. I took Physics 125&126 at SFU but did not take 131 (lab) and thus only received Science 1st credits.
