Internal course transfer question (and academic probation)

Hi, so I'm in my first semester in the CRIM program at the moment but I've decided to go transfer into computing sciences.  I'm pretty sure I'm gonna fail at least one course this semester... I've decided to enroll in the qualifying courses this spring 2014

My question is: if I do fail a course (or more) in this semester will it affect my admission into computing arts? (the courses I'm talking about are - ARCH and/or Sociology)

(I think from what I've read, I have to retake the course and pass it to graduate, do I have to take it the very next semester or any time that I can?)

you just need to fulfil the requirements for admissions.

No, it won't affect your admission into computing science. Admission gpa is based on the cmpt courses listed in the calendar

You can graduate with an F on your transcript if you don't need the course for anything in your program. All it will do is lower your gpa. Im 99.9% sure they look at you cgpa as well as your qualifying courses and cmpt Sci gpa when transferring into cmpt sci. I would retake the courses right away so you don't stay on academic probation
