Is there a chance of getting into closed courses that don't 
even show up on enrollment by waiting for wait-list spots?
Do they become visible again?

    Closed courses have full waitlists if the course has a waitlist. If the wait list opens up again by someone leaving the class you can join the waitlist. I highly doubt you will get into the course if this is the case. Im not sure what happens for courses that do not have waitlists.

    No chance. Plan something else, because you'l just end up waiting the entire semester trying to get in and end up taking one less course.
