Beedie Questions

edited September 2013 in General
So, i recently applied to the Business program offered in the burnaby campus; but, in the application form, there was an option between the Surrey campus and the burnaby campus. Here are my questions:

1. Is there a difference between the burnaby campus and the surrey campus, although my planned concentration is going to be in Finance.
2. Is there a difference between the diploma i receive from the burnaby and the surrey campus for BBA?
3. If i'm enrolled at the burnaby campus for the bus-one program, is it possible if i can complete the bus-one program at the surrey campus?(would it be the same?)

Comments

  • 1. Well the campuses are different. The course offerings in a given term are different, with different professors. That is about it.

    2. Nope, exactly the same.

    3. Potentially. The courses will be exactly the same, it is just a matter as to whether they might put you in some kind of group that would be based out of one campus? Maybe someone else can chime in on this one.

Either way you will likely find you end up taking courses at both campuses over the course of your degree.
  • ahh i see, i thought it would be slightly different haha. thank you though!
  • If you take bus-one at burnaby or surrey, esp. for surrey, you will have priority registration in those classes respectively. They usually reserve 60 seats for people in a Surrey-specific program. Other than that it is the same really though.
