can I attend to D100 lecture instead of D200?

edited September 2013 in General

I have a 8:30am class and next class is at 2:30pm.

I have 5 hours break between classes because I registered for D200 since D100 was full.

but can I just attend D100 class although I didn't register for it?

in that way I only get 1 hour break which is great

it's cmpt120 btw. so no worry for in class pop quiz or whatever except for scheduled exams.

5 hour break is way too painful

  • If its taught by the same prof and there's no quizzes/assignments/participation or anything I would
  • The thing is a lot of people are probably going to show up to that tutorial which might make it really packed. Do you get marks for doing the lab? If it's a drop in lab with no assignments in the lab it should be fine, but check with your TA or Prof.
  • crimematic// yes it is taught by the same prof and there's no quizzes assign or w/e I believe. even if there was I think prof will tell us ahead.

112233// it's lecture not lab. my lab for this course is actually right after my first class so I'm fine with that.
  • I wish you could do this with tutorials :(
  • Ohhhh, better check with the Prof, or have a friend in the other section in the case that something is different.
  • @112233 Are you talking to me? If you are, yeah I have a friend in another tutorial the one right before mine. The max is like 18 or 19 but really only like 10 people show up and there are a lot of seats in the tutorial room! The TA is really condescending though not sure if I'd be allowed.
  • I did this with tutorials in my econ class(103).  I asked the TA if I could go to an earlier one because I had a class at another campus right after my original one.  However, the tutorial was optional so maybe thats why the TA let me.

  • it is fine
