edited August 2013 in General
Hey just wondering for those who have taken the diagnostic test for first year math, what is the diagnostic test like? What should I be expecting?

  • all you have to do is get a certain amount of questions right.  so if you only get say 16/20 and somebody else gets 20/20, you'll both get the full 5%.

the questions are based on math 12 (no probability).  if you did well in math 12, passing should be no problem.  a lot of the questions are "medium" difficulty and some are hard.  don't worry about getting perfect, just focus on passing.  if you fail, then you have to go to this workshop thing throughout the whole semester, which is just a waste of your time.
