Changing Faculties

Hi there, I'm currently a first year IAT student, going to my second year come Fall 2013, and I'm hoping to transfer out of IAT to Arts and Social Sciences. I contacted the Arts and Social Sciences advisor and she told me I had to talk to someone else regarding a faculty change along with a few requirements.

My questions are:
Who should I talk to regarding a switch in faculties?
When should I/am I allowed to switch faculties?

    You can switch faculties once you have competed the required courses to enter the new program you are switching to. Best person to talk to about this is an advisor from the department you are switching too. In the meantime though you should be able to find the courses you need online.

    In general it is usually pretty easy to switch between programs once you have been admitted to one, except for the few with modest GPA requirements.
