Apartment near SFU?

Hey guys I'm an international student and I've been trying to find an apartment off campus (I'll arrive in Vancouver by the end of April) so any help would be appreciated. Are any of you guys looking for a roommate? I can pay 500 max (all utilities included, and internet) - I don't care much about a tv or phone, just basic necessities and furnishings. 

I would live on campus but by the looks of what I've read on talksfu the food is overpriced and awful, so I don't think I'd like the Towers' meal plan! :(
