Any places to chill for science students?

edited January 2013 in General
Hi, I'm a 2nd year biology student, and i'm getting sick of hanging out in the library all day! i know other faculties have lounges and stuff where they can sit and study/talk/whatever, is there anywhere for biology/science students to do the same? preferably one with a sink or kettle or something.

i've been to the Shrum Science Centre before, and it's kind of lame to be honest.

  • What? Science people chill? I thought they just mix mad concoctions all day in the super secret lab.
  • ^Haha

I'd make meth if I was a Chemistry major. Then I'd sell it and pay my tuition.
  • Come to the Biology Student Union common room! We have both a sink and a kettle, plus a 75-cent pop machine. I think we're in room B8231 - a few rooms down from the BISC 101 lab. It's almost always open and biology students are welcome anytime.
