Econ 105 with Choi

Hey, I'm taking econ 105 with Choi this coming semster and was wondering if the myeconlab code is important to have, or can I make do without out it? also if you could share your experience with the course (how hard it is, how much out of class time is required for this class weekly... etc) that would be great :),
