Is stat 100 easy?

Need to take another class next semester and was wondering if it was easy, and also if it is a good preparation class for buec 232 which im planning on taking in the summer or fall. Also the prof for the class is seccional- Wendell Challenger. If anyones taken the class id appreciate your opinion, Thanks in advance!

    STAT 100 is super easy. So easy as a matter of fact that I'm not sure it really makes you any more prepared for 232 than anyone else. You will probably pick up some statistics lingo though which could come in handy.

    But yeah, I believe stat 100 is one of the easiest b-sci courses around.

    I need 1 more elective (as in anything, to satisfy the 120 total credits). Should I take stats 100? Would it be almost a guaranteed A for a Bc Sci student? (for example I got a B+ in math 150). Is there a specific instructor I should avoid for it?

    Stat 101 is also quite easy, but not as easy as 100. 100 has practically no math and generally has open book exams. 

    Stat 100 sounds easier than Stat 203. Stat 203 sounds like an equivalent of Stat 101. Stats 100 is generally intended to be a course arts kids take. Once you have taken 101 you can no longer take 100.

    I would say stat 100 is an easy A if you try yeah. I got an A+ with minimal effort. In terms of instructor it seems to change often. I took it with a random woman who people didn't really like, but it was still easy. Know though that if you have already done Stat 270/Buec 232 you can't take 100 for further credit.

    Looks like Richard Lockhart is doing Stats 100. I'm not sure if he would be a good choice since I understood he likes to make his own questions. Combine that with open book final, I can see it be very complicated.

    Haha, taking Stats 100 after completing Geog 251 feels so weird. Tho I don't think it will help me, since stats 100 is more general idea of what statistics is, rather than doing calculations and computations and understanding statistics methods than what I did in 251.

    Derek Bingham the instructor is also very funny and looks chill :)
