CMNS minor?

I'm currently doing a publishing minor which involves taking several CMNS courses, and I've come to the conclusion that I love communications. I already have about half the credits needed for a CMNS minor, but it would mean adding an extra term to my degree. Even if I stay as I am now, I'll need an extra term anyway, so this would mean adding a full 5th year.

I really love communications, but I'm hesitant because of the additional tuition and time it would take, and I'm not sure if there would be much benefit to it in my future. Is a CMNS minor worth it?

I think it really depends on your major and what future career you are looking into! That being said, I believe that you will never regret any education that you receive, and if you enjoy it, why not? (I am quite jealous that you have found something that you "love") :P However, as far as employers go it may or may not be seen as an asset.

You make a good point. If it helps, I'm doing an English major and I'd like to get into the masters of publishing program once I graduate.

For one thing, a lot of the TMs will be PUb students themselves...
