Calculus Diagonstics Test

edited September 2012 in General
Does anyone know a good way to prepare for this test, or maybe some good review notes? I looked at some of the practice questions but had no idea how to do them.

  • Honestly calc test really doesn't matter, if you don't pass the min, I forget what it was, then you just have to go to a mandatory tutorial to get back the 5%.  It's really a pain in the ass because they're at the shittiest times ever so just make sure you pass the first time.
  • I failed the diagnostics test last year but still did very well ( only math 157 though). The worst part of failing is not having to attend the mandatory tutorial but the fact that you well feel embarrassed everytime you walk into the diagnostics tutorial ):  GOOD LUCK!
  • Ouch. Was the material basically grade 12 type math?
  • is there any diagnostic test for calculus II? or namely MATH 152 this term?
  • Nothing is new, It's all stuff you should know, mostly graphs and stuff with lines.

I didn't have to take a diagnostics test for calc II so I'm going to say no.
  • I remember that I used what I learned in Math 100 to prepare for the diagnostic test and I passed. Try to find a Math 100 textbook to borrow. A lot of people pass with just Math 12 though :P
  • anyone know way time the manditorial tutorials are?
  • there are a bunch of tutorials to sign up for, first come first serve
