SFU orientation?

I'm not going to be in Vancouver during orientation.
Is it really necessary to go to the orientation? 
What about frosh week?

    orientation is useless
    frosh is only for beedie students i believe.  find out about it on the beediefrosh site

    ^I believe frosh is for all faculties, I know arts, business, and science have one planned.

    If you can't make it to orientation, I think you should participate in frosh just to meet some people. I'm going to both :)
