Easy First Year English Course
I'm looking to transfer to second year Beedie and would like to know which English course is on the easy side. English is actually one of my strongest subjects but I really don't want to risk a dip in my GPA, and right now am considering ENGL 102W or PHIL XX1 and would like some thoughts. Thanks!

English 103W - Interesting course, we have papers due roughly every week but they're short. If you take it with Torsten Kehler and attend his class (and actually read the plays/material) then it's easy to do well. 20% was on tutorial marks alone, so that should give you a hint.
English 104W - Honestly, when I took this course we didn't even learn about prose and genres, it was basically "who could write the most eccentric paper" but again it depends on who you take it with. I'm not sure if all the 104W courses are like this, but I found that you didn't even need to attend lecture because you didn't gain anything from the lecture (other than neat YouTube clips).
English 199W - One of the most useful courses I've taken here. It wasn't easy in the sense that you could slack off and do well, but if you want to do well in your future writing courses then I strongly recommend this one.
Phil XX1 - Easy! I can't remember much about this course, other than that it was interesting and straight-forward (you can't slack off like in the English courses, but if you attend lectures and do the readings then you don't really need to do much more than that)
Phil 120W & 100W - These both weren't too difficult but they did require work. In retrospect none of these courses require too much work in comparison to other courses, but out of this group then these two and Engl 199W required the most work.
