PSYC 100 intersession?

edited April 2012 in General
Looks to be a interesting course, they're offering it intersession just wondering if anyone's taken it like that?  how was it?
I've seen  a lot of posts on here about it but they were the regularly scheduled lectures. its with alder.

also theres no exam date posted, is there an exam for this course?

  • I've taken PSYC 102 with Alder in the spring and also planning to take PSYC 100 intersession in the summer. I'm still not sure as there is a shitload of readings. From what I remember, exams in the intersession make up 66% of your mark; I don't know if that's one test or a midterm and a final. And...I didn't really like his teaching style nor the course. However, I think a lot of people would say it's easy. I ended up with a B- just guessing the final lol. Just not sure if I can keep up with this all in one month thing.
  • psyc 100 is a pretty good course, it's basically gives you an overview of the field, and each chapter covers a different topic.. from what i remember, there are 2 midterms and 1 final exam, mostly multiple choice but with a couple essay questions on each one. as long as you keep up with the readings for each chapter and can recollect the key terms and definitions, you will be fine.. psyc 100, 101 and 102 were among the easier courses that i took but then again im a science student so mileage may vary. i would do it
  • ps. i did it during the semester, not intersession if that matters
