Coop term with a lecture course!
I am planning on doing the undergraduate Joint Honours in MBB and CS. First off, any feedback regarding this program is most welcome! Secondly, I was thinking of enrolling in COOP, but that means spending a couple of extra semesters on the degree, making me graduate in 5 years instead of 4. Now, is the extra time spent really worth it (i.e. finishing with 4 coop terms alongwith joint honours)? Plus, does anyone know if we can take a lecture course or two while in a Coop term? I've heard people in other programs doing it, but apparently its not a good idea?
And finally, is it a normal thing to take 12-13 credit hours with only Upper Division courses in the two departments - MBB and CS and come out with 4.0+ GPA for the semester? I'm guessing it should be, but just curious if you sign your life away in each semester or if you can still have a wee bit of fun while at it?
Thanks.
