Any thoughts on ENG 199?
Im first year student and haven't taken any english courses in SFU. I'm planning on taking Engl 199 during the 2011 summer semester as the course name sounds promising as it's called 'introduction to university writing.' I've struggled to get a decent mark in english in highschool and thought that before taking any of Engl 101/102/103/104/105, it would be a good idea to take eng 199 and learn how to write in university level. Can anyone share with me some thoughts/experiences on Engl 199? Would it be beneficial to take it before taking any of 101/102/103/104/105? Thank you in advance
