math courses

edited December 2010 in General

I want to take math courses in the upcoming semester, and I have finished math 157 and math 158 in the last semester; unfortunately, I got B- from both courses. So the problem is, I can't enroll in math 232, 240, or even 150 or 151, because I did not receive "at least a B" from math 157/158. So is it impossible for me to take any more math class?

That's odd that they require a B. I definitely took more math courses including 232 after getting C's in 151/152.

Maybe they have a higher standard because 157/158 is the easy version of calculus. Still, I don't think linear algebra (232) depends on that knowledge at all, so talk to an advisor and see if they'll put you in the course.
