Orientation for Spring term!

edited December 2010 in General
Hi, Do you think is Orientation worth?

I just wonder whether I have to go or not.
Though people who went to Orientation before said that it was pretty good for socializing, I think the Spring one will be not.
Since it is the Spring term, there will be smaller group of people than Orientation in the Fall term.
How do you think,

  • Well, the good thing about it is that you will learn where all the different buildings are. Imagine coming to school for first week of classes and not knowing where your supposed to go. As long as your ok for that, the rest of orientation isn't that important in my opinion... they do a lot of activities and games but if your not a very social person than you may not even find it fun at all. You could go up there yourself one day or with a friend, take a map, and walk around and figure everything out yourself. The doors are open all day and night so you can go there when you feel most comfortable... that's my opinion anyway, since I didn't really go to orientation
